This dark roast is for those who like a mellow cup with low acidity and just a touch of that roasty comfort in the cup. (This is not a scorched earth kind of dark roast)

The Story

This is a microlot from producer Mauro Galheri produced. from the Catuai Amarelo IAC 62 cultivar.

Dose · 20g (about 3 tablespoons ground coffee)
Water · 300g, 203F Temp (about 30 seconds off boil)
Ratio: 15 to 1 (2-3 tablespoons per cup)
Brew Time: 4:00 is a good target for v60
Espresso
  • Dose · 20g in, 40g out
  • Ratio: 2 : 1
  • Brew Time: 26-30 seconds
  • Brew Temp: 201F, tested on La Spaziale Dream @ 9 bar
